There are four seats opening up this year, and we strongly encourage arts advocates and artists to consider applying by the April 30, 2020 deadline.

If you’d like to learn more about the San José Arts Commission from people who’ve been there, we’re excited to host a virtual meetup with SJAA Core Team members Ron Muriera and Peter Allen. Ron has served on the Arts Commission since 2012, and Peter served from 2012-2016. They’ll call on their experience to answer any questions you might have about the application process and the work of the commission.
