: Arts, Culture & Creativity Month 2020 : Arts Advocacy Training Webinar

If you are interested in how to be an effective arts advocate, how to engage in Arts, Culture & Creativity Month, and 2020 legislation and the funding outlook, Californians for the Arts is making this seminar for you! In support of April’s Arts, Culture & Creativity Month, please join this free Arts Advocacy Training Webinar where you will be educated and empowered to take statewide action to advance the arts.

Led by Californians for the Arts executive director Julie Baker and Advocacy Committee chair Sofia Klatzker, this 60-minute training will equip you with the tools to effectively communicate with your local, county, and state representatives, give you other ways to engage in your community (including sharing your Arts Impact Story), and inspire you to become an arts advocate.

If we want lawmakers to prioritize funding and resources to protect and uplift our sector, we must show up and show up big. Raise your voice for the arts!
