Mayor's March Budget Message FY25-26 We have thoughts!

On Tuesday, March 18, at 4:00pm, the San José City Council will consider Mayor Mahan’s March Budget Message. This is the first step in the budget process, when the Mayor provides direction to the City Manager for how to structure the City’s budget for the coming fiscal year. As usual, we have thoughts! So we wrote a letter to the Mayor and City Council. You can read it here, and if you agree, please add your name and/or organization as a co-signer.

We plan to deliver the letter no later than 8:00am the day of the meeting, but feel free to sign anytime. Our budget advocacy is only beginning!
